I find journaling a comfortable way to reflect on my day and to connect with my feelings and emotions. On the day-to-day, we may express our happiness or frustrations, but often times, addressing the event may not mean addressing the emotions associated with it.
Journaling can be a great way to give more space for ourselves and write thoughts and feelings out. Believe it or not, for many introverts writing is just a really good way to express themselves.
In a previous blog post we explored that when you’re aligned with your purpose, every decision becomes clearer, your energy becomes focused, and your life feels more coherent. Without purpose, people often feel lost, scattered, or like they’re moving through life without a true sense of direction.
But purpose is not one huge, life-defining achievement. Purpose is more like a guiding star or a compass—it’s something that aligns your actions toward meaningful things, not just big achievements.

Journaling prompt: Find your purpose
So let's explore what your purpose may be. Here are some questions you can ask yourself:
What makes you feel most like yourself?
When do you feel most at peace or at home in your own energy?
What values feel non-negotiable to you, even if no one else sees them?
What activities make you lose track of time while feeling fully engaged, focused, or energized?
What experiences do I return to in my mind — and why?
I hope answering these questions gave you some clues of when you feel more aligned to your inner compass and what may be the things you need to bring more into your life to embrace your purpose.
