I find journaling a comfortable way to reflect on my day and to connect with my feelings and emotions. On the day-to-day, we may express our happiness or frustrations, but often times, addressing the event may not mean addressing the emotions associated with it.
Journaling can be a great way to give more space for ourselves and write thoughts and feelings out. Believe it or not, for many introverts writing is just a really good way to express themselves.
Two weeks ago we took a sneak peak in the benefits of discovering and using our strengths.
Personal strengths are our natural traits, abilities, and ways of thinking that energize us and make us feel most like ourselves. They’re not just things we're good at—they’re the things that feel right when we're doing them. When we recognize and use them intentionally, we grow faster, feel better, and achieve more in every aspect of our life—with authenticity and joy.

Journaling prompt: Discover your Zone of Genius
I invite you to think about your own qualities, skills, tasks or activities that you regularly do in any aspect of your life. Using the below four quadrants, categorize these qualities based on two axis:
Things I'm not great at and am pretty good at.
Things I don't particularly enjoy and I really love doing.
See below an example quadrant filled with various skills and activities.

By reflecting on not only what we are good at but where our passion lies, we connect with our strengths as well as getting closer to define our purpose-our guiding star or a compass and align our actions toward meaningful things. I hope you enjoyed the journaling.
