Journaling prompt: Self-power playlist

I find journaling a comfortable way to reflect on my day and to connect with my feelings and emotions. On the day-to-day, we may express our happiness or frustrations, but often times, addressing the event may not mean addressing the emotions associated with it.

Journaling can be a great way to give more space for ourselves and write thoughts and feelings out. Believe it or not, for many introverts writing is just a really good way to express themselves. But this time, we will try something other than writing 😜

 

Music boosts emotions and self-confidence by enhancing mood, reducing stress, and providing an outlet for expression. It inspires, comforts, and fosters social connections, helping to combat loneliness. Empowering lyrics and music builds self-esteem, while performing or learning music increases resilience and self-belief. Whether listening, playing, or singing, music is a powerful tool for emotional well-being and confidence.

Music is a great way for introverts to boost emotions.

Journaling prompt: Self-power playlist

This month, our journaling prompt will be different: I invite you to create a playlist in your music app that contains songs that:

  • Lift your mood up

  • Give you the sense of power and strength

  • Boosts your self-confidence

  • You sign along loud (when there's no-one around)

  • Have a deep and positive meaning for you

 

When you are ready putting together your Self-power playlist, find some time and space for yourself, when you can listen to it uninterrupted. Just listen and enjoy the music. Sing along when you want to. Feel how your mood changes, how your inner power sparks and grows. Whenever you feel down, powerless or drained, put this playlist on. Music will immediately help you charge up your batteries, mood and self-power.
